LE YI is the first of four 28,000dwt multipurpose cargoship sand was built in Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. and delivered to COSCO on May 19,2000.

Features

1.The cargo space is divided into five cargo holds; the main cargo hold can be accessed through five hatches with hydraulic covers and hatch openings maximized to facilitate general cargo, grain and container handling.

2.The vessel is of flush deck with forecastle and equipped with three electrohydraulic deck cranes to enhance cargo handling efficiency and to handle heavy cargoes, namely two twin-type cranes each with hoisting capacity of 35ton*2 and one single-type crane of 35ton capacity.

3.Five tween-deck covers make possible a variety of cargo stowage permutations.
