The
Ninth Design and Research Institute
Established in May 1953,the Ninth Design&
Research Institute(NDRI) under the command of CSSC was awarded
one of the hundred powerful units in the field of survey and
design in China and the largest scale institute in China's shipbuilding
industry.It is one of the 25 comprehensive design and research
units with Class A Performance approved by the governmental
authorities concerned for its operations and services.In addition,
NDEI has possessed qualifications for design supervision. It
also has the right to contract the foreign projects and the
licenee for export of labour service. NDRL smoothly passed the
certification of ISO 9001-2000 quality systems in March,2003
and has earned the title as the Shanghai Model Unit and Image
Unit of Excellent Enterprise.
