22,000m3liquefied ethylene gas carriers M/T NAVIGATOR
MARS, NAVIGATOR VENUS, NAVIGATOR SATURN, NAVIGATOR PLUTO and NAVIGATOR
NEPTUNE were constructed by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd.
and delivered to NAVIGATOR HOLDINGS LTD. respectively in February,
September, October, November and December of 2000.

Features
1.The
vessel has four "C" type independent bilobed cargo tanks,
IMO classified type 2G with maximum pressure of 4.7 bar G, minimum
temperature of -104oC for carrying such liquefied gases as ethylene,
commercial propane, anhydrous ammonia, propylene, butylene, butadience
and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM).
2.Three
grades of cargoes in different cargo tanks can be loaded and discharged
simultaneously.
3.Two
electric-motor-driven deepwell pumps (250m3/h each)are
provided for each of the cargo tanks. Two booster pumps (500m3/h
each) and one combined type cargo heater/vaporizer are provided
on the upper deck to transfer the liquefied gases to the storage
tanks on shore.
4.Two
deck tanks (125m3 each) are provided for changeover
of cargoes.
5.An
inert gas generator is provided to produce dry inert gas or dry
air. The generator is used for inerting and dehydration of the
cargo system as well as the interbarrier spaces during voyage.
6.An
independent cargo gas plant control and monitoring system is provided
on board. Cargo pumps, reliquefaction plants, ballast pumps, Cargo
