| This
46,000dwt product/crude oil tanker is designed by SDARI for STUDIO
TECNICO of Italy. The first ship is scheduled for delivery in
2003.
Features
1.The
vessel is designed for unrestricted navigation service of transporting
product oil and/or crude oil.
2.It's
cargo tanks and slop tanks are coated with paint of special epoxy
series.
3.Its
features a single deck with forecastle, raked stem, bulbous bow
with bow thruster and driven by lowspeed diesel with single crew.
4.The
cargo tank area is built with double skin and double bottom.
5.Six(6)
oil-tight vertically corrugated transverse bulkheads and one(1)
oiltight vertically corrugated central longitudinal bulkhead with
longitudinal and transverse upper & lower stools divide the
cargo tank area into twelve (12) cargo oil tanks and two (2) slop
tanks forming six (6) cargo tanks and one (1) slop tank on each
side of the ship. There are six(6) pairs of ballast tanks in the
cargo tank area. The forepeak, afterpeak and the pair of ballast
tanks in the machinery space are to be used as segregated ballast
tanks.
6.The
machinery space and deckhouse, including the wheelhouse, are located
aft with the five-tiered deckhouse arranged on top of the machinery
space.
7.Each
cargo tank and slop tank is installed with a Framo hydraulic-driven
submerged pump for loading and unloading cargo oil. And by separating
into four segregations, four different grades of cargo oil can
be loaded and unloaded simultaneously.
