| A
new type double-hull and double-bottom 71,000-dwt Panamax crude
oil tanker has been developed by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co.,
Ltd.and open for owners' orders.
Features
1.The
vessel is an oil carrier for carrying crude oil (flash point below
60oC) in 6 cargo oil tanks and 2 slop tanks. Double hull construction
is in full compliance with the requirements of OPA 90 and MARPOL
25A.
2.The
vessel has achieved superior propulsion performance due to the
hull form developed on the basis of latest technology and long
experience.
3.The
long-stroke, low-revolution and fuel-efficient main engine 5S60MC
drives a large diameter propeller for improved propulsive efficiency.
4.Three
(3) sets of steam-turbine-driven centrifugal-type cargo pumps
and one set of electric-motor-driven screw-type stripping pump
are installed to achieve easy unloading of cargo oil.
5.Special
considerations are given to safety, environment protection, labor
saving and operation economy.
6.Vapor
emission control system meets USCG requirements.
