| QUARTERMAN
was the 3,600dwt doublehull and double bottom oil tanker built
by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co.,Ltd. and delivered in March,
1997. It was the first of the four vessles ordered by JAMES FISHER
TANKSHIP LTD, and all the four vessels were delivered.

Features
1.The
vessel has twelve (12) cargo oil tanks. One (1) slop tank is arranged
on the main deck. Doublehull, double-bottom construction is in
compliance with the U.S. Oil Pollution Act of 1990.
2.Each
cargo tank is equipped with one (1) submerged cargo pump driven
by an electric motor, which is remotely controlled from the cargo
control room. The vessel is able to carry six (6) different kinds
of cargo simultaneously.
3.When
unloading cargo oil, four(4) cargo pumps work simultaneously,
capable of unloading completely in four and half (4.5) hours.
4.The
shaft generator is also to serve as a motor in the event of the
main engine fails to propel the ship at 6 knots.
5.Twin
Schilling rudders and bow thrusters are installed for good maneuverability.
6.Thermal
fluid and deck heaters are used for heating the cargo.
