| Four
51,000-dwt handymax bulk carriers are under construction in Jiangnan
Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. and the first vessel will be delivered
to VORONTADOS NEPE in April 2002. All design of this novel handymax
was carried out by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. itself.

Features
1.The
cargo space is divided into five cargo holds with topside tanks
and hopper bottoms; its hull structure can afford the efficient
stowage of cargoes.
2.The
vessel is capable to handle a variety of cargoes including grain,
ore, coal, steel products and hot rolled coil steel with maximum
25-ton loaded.
3.The
vessel meets all the new requirements of IACS issued for bulk
carriers.
4.Electrohydraulic-driven,
side-folding type hatchcovers are provided for each cargo hold.
5.The
vessel is equipped with four(4) electrohydraulic deck cranes with
capacity of SWL 35-ton each.
6.The
designed tanktop structure can bear the impact load from cargo
grab as per requirements of Class ABS. Hull Structure is designed
in compliance with the requirement of a fatigue life of 25 years.
