8,000hp multipurpose stand by ship is designed by SDARI and built
in Wuhu Shipyard. The first ship will be delivered to CHINA OFFSHORE
OIL NORTHERN SHIPPING CO. in 2003.
Features
1.
The vessel is designed as a multipurpose stand-by vessel with
steel hull and three storey deck house.
2.Double-bottom
structure is adopted for main hull except for the forward part,
and knuckle line. Icebreading form and transverse framing are
also adopted for the vessel.
3.The
vessel is driven by two diesel engines and two CPPs.
4.The
vessel is designed according to the requirements for the offshore
navigation areas and can be used for stand-by purpose as well
as towing and supplying for drilling rigs.
